Beginning in 2014, the Pure Water Access Project ran a two-year fellowship program for students at The Ohio State University. The fellowship was designed to provide the opportunity for self-driven students to learn about the clean water sector by actually working in it. During the first year of the fellowship, students were given mentorship, taught basic research skills, and introduced to the business behind the nonprofit sector. During the second year, students were tasked with leading the Pure Water Access Project’s work with its partners. Over two dozen students participated in the fellowship program.
